Community Engagement
Our Community Engagement activities give us opportunities to give back to a community that has supported us for 25 years.
What is Community Engagement?
Community Engagment means making a difference
We identify meaningful ways that we can add value to the lives of different community groups throughout our region, and to make a real difference where we can.
Fraser Coast Open For Business
Steelrite is a member of the Fraser Coast “Open For Business”, an initiative that aims to support buying local.
Our sales teams actively promote this initiative, and Steelrite supports fellow businesses with great deals on their orders.
We believe in community engagement, and that supporting local business is an investment with a real return in community support and business prosperity.

Granville State School
Steelrite was able to make a real difference in the lives of students and teachers at the Graville State School.
Our donation of a secure steel cage helped them manage their native beehive in their amazing Bush Tucker Garden.
Bird Club Magazine
Steelrite contributes to Fraser Coast Bird Club’s cost of printing its monthly magazine and annual calendars.
Of course we enjoy seeing our Logo in there, but we acknowledge that this club is very active and inclusive in our community.
Men’s Shed
Men’s Sheds have proven to be a great community engagement opportunity for Steelrite. We believe the work they do is fantastic for everyone involved.
Steelrite ensure these groups enjoy significant discounts for any supplies they purchase. We have also made donationsn of steel for a variety of projects.
Glenwood State School
Steelrite was able to make a real difference in the lives of students and teachers at the Glenwood State School.
Our financial donation helped these students to participate in their end of year excursion, camps and class parties.
Maryborough Hockey Association
Steelrite is very proud to sponsor of the Maryborough Hockey Association.
Along with other activities and donations, our community engagement with this group included fabrication of Grand Stands for spectators.
